I was in vacation mode recently, and what does a crochet lover do on vacation, she crochets of course. It’s just more proof that I will crochet anywhere, by the pool, on a plane, in an airport, in the car, at a little league game, just about anywhere. It was a very nice trip, and I stopped at the local yarn stores and bought a few more skeins of yarn from local makers, things I can only get from these little shops.
My favorite of this trip was Tempe Yarns where I purchased some locally dyed yarn to make my son a new hat or ear warmer. They had sooo many wonderful yarns, I was tempted to get so much more but I had limited bag space to bring it all home. Their staff is just amazing too, very friendly and helpful. I hope that I run into the one I was chatting with when she’s up in our area for the Chicago Yarn Crawl.
