Autumn over at The Collective in downtown Lisle has been so supportive of my new business venture and my own personal growth. If you haven’t been to her shop yet, you’re missing a cozy little oasis of creativity and support she’s created. She’s encouraging my next big step, teaching, and I hope that you’ll come out to join me!
I’ll be teaching the crochet half of this new class and my friend Marie will teach the knit half. It’s a beginner class, making cotton dish cloths so not only will you learn to knit and crochet, but you’ll get to take your project home with you. You can decide if you like to knit or crochet more, because everyone ends up with a preference. (I do know how to knit, but I prefer to crochet and Marie feels the same for knitting) Marie and I will also be at The Collective Sundays from 1-3 for a supportive yarn circle where you can bring your projects to work on, or get help. We laugh (a lot) talk (also a lot) and lose count of our stitches more than we should, but it’s always a great time to carve out to work on project, or just get away from your to do list.
